As part of our strategy to strengthen Convena Distribution’s management, we are proud to announce that Charlotte E. Larsen have been hired as our new Director of Purchase from May 1, 2020. Charlotte has many years of experience with purchase management, and we’re confident that she’ll be able to inspire, coach, and develop our already competent Purchase department even further.
Founder and Co-owner of Convena Distribution, Peter Garber, explains: “With Charlotte’s wealth of experience from multiple industries, we have no doubt that we’ll be able to utilize her many skills. Choosing Charlotte for the position was a no-brainer for us. Her focused and pragmatic approach to purchasing, as well as her many years of experience managing various purchase departments, made her the perfect fit for our team. The fact that she has worked within the IT- and distribution industry, but also has valuable know-how from other areas, provides us with the additional assurance that purchase management and -development will be looked at from an additional angle going forward.”
Together with the current purchase team, Charlotte will continue the good work. Charlotte wants to focus on broadening our product portfolio and optimize purchase procedures and processes, along with the entire Supply Chain. On top of that, she will help to fulfil Convena Distribution’s ongoing ambition to become an ever-stronger player in the IT distribution market.
Charlotte E. Larsen elaborates: “I’m happy and proud to be given this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to the challenge. In the beginning, I will focus on familiarizing myself with Convena Distribution as a company, the different categories of products, and last, but certainly not least, on getting to know my new colleagues and team, so we can make Convena Distribution an even more attractive business partner.”
Peter Garber, Founder & Co-Owner, who has filled the position of Director of Purchase until now, will take on a new role, handling Convena Distribution’s general business development and strategy.
