Convena Distribution gains new impetus in maintaining a cutting-edge sales force

On 1 December, Tinna Pichard was appointed sales director and will play a crucial role in Convena’s ongoing growth strategy.

Tinna Pichard has taken up the post of sales director for Convena Distribution. She will have overall responsibility for sales of our product portfolio and will bring sales to a higher level. Tinna joins us from EET Group, where she was group sales development director, having previously occupied various management positions in sales, marketing and customer services since 2006. Convena owner Ulrik Bøttner, who has occupied the post of sales director since the company was founded in 2003, will move on to focus on business development and growth strategy.

 

As new sales director, Tinna will also play a central role in developing the company’s customer portfolio, as well as ensuring the loyalty of existing customers. In addition, the ambition is to expand sales of value-based services in areas such as digitalisation and other services centred on the optimisation of our customers’ business value.

 

Tinna herself says: “The position of sales director for Convena Distribution is especially interesting given the company’s ambitious growth plans in EMEA and the solid foundations that are in place on which to build. Convena Distribution has the potential to grow exponentially over the coming years and has all of the prerequisites for taking market share and increasing sales.”

In 2017, Convena Distribution altered course, with new and ambitious growth targets as outlined in the company’s Plan 2020. Since then, we have acquired two companies, expanded our product portfolio with over 20 new brands and 300,000 products and increased our workforce from 55 to 75 employees. Our 1,900 m2 warehouse has been expanded by hundreds of pallets and total dispatches have increased by 50%.
